S eight blackmail is no transfer of 500 million euro, the Berlusconi government has forced the Puglia region to develop a plan to return for health, which includes cutting about 2,200 beds in many small hospitals in Puglia, including that of Monte Sant'Angelo.

In recent months, on the recommendation of PD, the City Council unanimously approved an order of the day, then sent to the Region, which asked:
- the maintenance of Geriatrics;
- l ' activation of long-term care and rehabilitation;
- The continuation of the service of Day Surgery;
- the start of dialysis;
- the expansion of other existing services.

In the meantime the situation has plummeted, thanks to the attitude of some demagogic and populist local political fiction that have only created confusion and resulted in regional bodies, with their assurances, an inexplicable wait by the Municipality.

In this scenario, driven by the fact that even before the Democratic Party members are citizens of the Mount, we have presented to the Region, through our representatives, the following alternative proposal that would avoid a heavy penalty for our city:
community hospitals (minimum health guarantee for citizens);
Hospice (guarantee of employment for employees of Geriatrics);
increase from 40 to 60 the number of beds in the RSA (20/25 jobs in more than current).

We believe that this proposal is a reasonable solution to a difficult time when so many really close, since in addition to maintaining existing services, if you add new ones favoring the same time, an increase in jobs.
We turn, therefore, call upon all political forces (right and left) and current City Council is to abandon the line of self-promotion and to build a common front on an important topic for Monte and his people.
